I bought the wrong item, or the wrong version of my book, and I want to exchange it with the correct item.

Exchanging an item must be done within 30 days from the purchase date and it must be an item that was purchased from Kendall Hunt.

  • Send an email to customersolutions@kendallhunt.com Include the order number for the item that was not correct and let them know you will be purchasing the correct item to replace it.
  • You will receive a reply with a ticket number informing you your issue is being worked on.
  • Locate the correct item you need and place an order for it, then you can respond to the email from us with your new order number. A team member will then review the request and issue credit for the original order, if the new order is confirmed as valid. 
I bought an eBook that I need to refund

Our digital items must meet two conditions to be eligible for a refund. The request must be made within 7 days of the purchase date, and the Access Code must not have been redeemed or used. If both of these things are true for you, then you can email your refund request to digitalrefund@kendallhunt.com. Please allow at least 2 business days for the request to be reviewed. 

Are there any coupon codes or discounts available that I can apply to my purchase?

The discounts we offer are only for certain courses and schools. Your instructor for your course will let you know ahead of time if there is a discount code you can use for your purchase.

When I look at the eBook option for an item on the website, it says 180 days, what does that mean?

Our digital items have a limited access duration. That duration begins when you activate the Access Code for the item, which is sent to you through email after purchase. The duration is typically set at 180 days, the length of a semester, however a few items may have a longer access duration shown.

I’m an instructor looking to get a review copy, a desk copy, or a preview of an item.

Returns and refunds on digital offerings, including electronic codes and software, are limited to those that have not been redeemed, activated, or used and must be requested within 7 business days of purchase. Email digital product refund requests to digitalrefund@kendallhunt.com and allow two business days for the request to be reviewed.

Print product can be returned in resalable condition and with the order confirmation or packing slip, within 30 days. A refund will be processed upon receipt. Products should be shipped prepaid via a traceable method such as UPS. Please enclose a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip, and be sure to include your full name and address on the outside of the package. Ship by traceable carrier, prepaid to:
